Tuna Fish Cans Situation in Kazan International Airport
I brought along with me a large blue suitcase as I planned to stay in Tatarstan, Russia for around one month. I had brought along some tuna fish in round cans in the suitcase. The security officer in the Kazan International Airport requested me to open the suitcase & show them to him. Perhaps he had not seen Tuna fish cans in Tatarstan (Also, they may have looked like anti-personnel mines of sorts to him).
I complied & put my suitcase on the floor, opened it & showed the Tuna fish cans to him. He probably did not understand when I told him that it was Tuna fish. I thought I was going to be spending a while trying to explain it to him when my lady, Gulfiya showed up & gestured to the officer that I was to meet with her. So we went off on our way out of the airport.
