One thing is for sure, the Islamic architectural elements have succeeded in making the government buildings look grand & monumental. The high tech architecture in Putrajaya has also succeeded in providing a futuristic outlook for Putrajaya. Combined, both Islamic architecture & high tech architecture in Putrajaya represents Malaysia’s desire & goal for a unique, developed nation by 2020. The Putrajaya development in Malaysia to house the new government center is attractive. Everything in Putrajaya is new, including the Cobra Head Curved Street Lights in the above picture. It looks unique designed & very different than any other street lights seen in Kuala Lumpur or the entire Malaysia as well! The new street lights accentuate the length of the main road heading into Putrajaya.
