Paid for MAS Beijing Plane Tickets at 5am
I was the only customer at 5am in the morning that Saturday. The MAS ticket office in KL Sentral was lighted with television & lights on; even the waiting ticket machine was functional. I felt like there were people in the ticket office other than me but they were invisible.
I waited for a few minutes & one MAS lady personnel came to the counter from within the employee room. I went in & out the ticket office about thrice asking questions like “How much to replace a lost ticket?”, “How much does the train shuttle to KLIA cost?” The MAS lady was helpful in answering my questions. I can tell you that the shuttle trip was quick & quite scenic where I received a bird’s eye view of the satellite building & airport runways. I then arrived to the flight gate after a brisk walk from the shuttle train. The flight gate for my flight to Tatarstan (winter 2005) was at the end of one of the long corridors of the satellite building. Thank goodness for walkalators (escalators but move only horizontally).
When I arrived to the flight gate for the flight to Tatarstan, one airport personnel dressed in green jacket rudely told me that the gate was not yet opened & that I should go away to wait for a while.
