Going on a holiday usually means that you & your family are going to be staying at a hotel. Not necessarily. A hotel can make one feel pampered, comfortable & etc but the normal rooms are like only bedrooms with attached toilets. Even suites may lack the facility for cooking, laundry & etc as the hotel would want you to use the restaurant & laundry services provided by the hotel.

Other holiday accommodation options include renting a holiday villa & apartment or condominium. Prices are cheaper especially when you share the cost with your friends. You receive what lacks from staying in hotels like a private heated swimming pool, kitchen & laundry facilities.
