Cheapest Flight Tickets to Beijing from Thai Airways

28 August, 2007 (06:08) | VE East Asia | By: a.i. editor

I looked for cheaper flight tickets to Beijing since a few weeks ago. I browsed many flight booking websites on the internet. I found the cheapest flight ticket to Beijing was from Thai airway which cost $50 less than MAS. However, the itinerary was not direct flight to Beijing from KL. Furthermore the stop at Bangkok was an 11 hour minimum to 23 hour wait for the flight to Beijing depending on your chosen flight itinerary.

I was compelled to save $50 so I can buy more presents for my girl & did not mind waiting 11 hours at the Bangkok airport as my internet work on the laptop via Wifi would keep me occupied. However, things somehow were not working for me regarding Thai airways. I had signed up at the Thai airway website so that I could buy the flight ticket.

I filled the registration form normally. Thereafter, while wanting to book the ticket online, I found that the system was not accepting my order. Also, I saw my name being displayed on the website was not my full name. We got to make sure that our names on our flight tickets are identical to that of our passports so as to avoid complications at the immigration check point.

Other Payment Options for MAS Flight Tickets

Other payment options for MAS (Malaysian Airlines System) flight tickets include credit card payment over the internet or telephone called tele-payment. I only use an Ambank prepaid credit card & since it had given me problems the past week then credit card payment option to pay for flight tickets is out of the question for me. Prices of the flight tickets sold on the internet & over the counter may vary too. You can call the MAS hot-line for verification of ticket prices.

Booked My Flight Ticket to Beijing with MAS

19 August, 2007 (06:37) | VE East Asia | By: a.i. editor

I booked my MAS (Malaysian Airlines System) flight tickets to Beijing around a week ago over the telephone. It was a promotional price so I think I made a good purchase. The ticket would be issued by the 29th of July 2007. The duration before payment was mentioned to me to be varied & dependent on many factors not listed on the post. I can choose to pay via cash at the MAS ticketing offices in KL, KL Sentral or KLIA. I have never been inside the KL Sentral building complex so I reckon it is where I shall go to pay for my flight tickets.
