Hotel Giuseppe in Kazan

I like the style of this hotel in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia. It seems like it is in western Europe. However, the price is probably similar too.

PhhBbTt! ;)

Hotel Giuseppe is located in the central part of the Kazan Kremlin by the street; Kremlin street - the old part of town in Kazan, Tatarstan. The hotel area is very convenient for tourists. Kachalov Drama Theatre in Kazan, Tatarstan, RussiaTheater is wonderful combination of arts. In Tatarstan, the greatest theater for small kids is situated in the center of the Kazan city. Kachalov theatre in the Baumn street of Kazan stages wonderful plays written by Gogol, Ostrovsky, Chekhov and many, many other famous authors of the past.

In this theater people can see dramas, tragedies, comedies, operas, ballets, puppet-shows and other performances. For example, Sleeping Beauty, Eugene Onegin, Boris Godunov have been a great success in the republic and abroad. My self & my girl saw the Tom Sawyer at the theater comedy back in 2005. It was a funny story about Tom’s adventure with his friends. The theater was full. Come and have fun! Don’t forget to bring your opera glasses or binoculars too. :)

Returning Home to Malaysia from Tatarstan, Russia

Returning Home to Malaysia from Tatarstan, Russia

I made my way home on the 11th January 2006 after spending many wonderful days in Tatarstan, Russia with my lady. On the way home, I took the Kazan-Frankfurt-Bangkok-KL flight. You may notice that the people who actually shop in the Duty free of Frankfurt airport & probably other European countries too are a rich bunch of folks.

They are either from Europe themselves, or from Japan, rich Arabs & Asians, & etc. Now that I recall it, I even asked how much it would cost me to have my watch fixed to fit my wrist on my way home to Malaysia from Tatarstan, Russia at Frankfurt airport.

The lady at the duty free watch shop answered nonchalantly “14 Euros”. I was flabbergasted, :O thanked her & walked away from the shop. The fee charged to do a simple task was unbelievable & outright ridiculous, in my opinion. I later had my watch done in a Malaysian watch shop at the Ampang Spectrum shopping mall for a few Ringgit which adds up to around 1 Euros. Lol :)
