I thought I would write about my shopping day for Aidilfitri which was about two months ago. I may as well write about the day now before I accidentally forget about the photos. As usual, I like to go shopping at Kamdar clothing store which is located on Jalan Tun Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur. There are many clothing & book stores located in the area. Jalan Tun Abdul Rahman is a popular shopping area. In the above photo, you can find Kamdar on the left side just down the road. I once bought a US$3 Malay styled shirt in Kamdar last year.

To Singapore on Friday

Bali Beach 2008

I have plenty of good quality pictures & plenty of stories to tell you readers about my recent Manila & Bali trip. Tomorrow, I am just going to read & organize the essentials for the Singapore trip on Friday. I am just too whooped out to think about it tonight. Yes, I hope & suspect that the Singapore trip won’t cost as much as the Bali trip as me & my lady will be staying in a Johor Bahru (Malaysia) hotel & enter into Singapore via the causeway. Besides, it will be just for 3 days & 2 nights with only one whole day of very basic sight seeing in Singapore. I don’t know; maybe we will just walk about the main Orchard Street in Singapore, buy some souvenirs & then call it a day. Lol!

Medium Sized Plane for Flight to Beijing

15 September, 2008 (13:08) | VE East Asia, VE South East Asia | By: a.i. editor

The flight to Beijing from KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) uses a twin engine medium sized passenger airplane, probably an Airbus or a Boeing. Actually I expected it to be at least a Jumbo jet 747 but it shows how more cost effective it is to be using medium sized planes to cater for medium range international flights. I reckon one day I can go on the new medium sized Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Take a look at the Airbus A380 & Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

However, it would probably be on Uzbekistan Airways as I read that MAS (Malaysian Airline System) is only purchasing the super jumbo sized Airbus A380. In the flight gate area I got the chance to have a small chat about the type of plane we were going aboard. He asked me whether I was going to Beijing for business or pleasure. I was going for pleasure but because of the 2 plus kilogram laptop I had in my backpack, I felt like I was going on a business trip. Lol. It reminds me that I should buy a much lighter laptop. Fantastic Voyage!
