One of the days that I was staying at Gulfiya’s parent’s apartment, she brought me to the War Memorial Park in Zelenodolsk, Tatarstan, Russia. I was told that in World War 2, the German Nazis had bombed Kazan City. Gulfiya told me that there were a lot of factories that were destroyed in Kazan City during WW2. The Zelenodolsk War Memorial Park is a tribute to the Russian people who fought in the Second World War. I reckon that there are names of Russian soldiers who lived in Zelenodolsk city & fought the Germans in WW2.
Very interesting – I love history. Never heard of this war memorial.
Zelenodolsk town has its history, but I reckon Kazan has more as it is a 1000 year old plus city.
