First Malaysian Astronaut in Space & ISS

The First Malaysian astronaut termed “Angkasawan” in Malay language launched into orbit two days ago with another Russian & American astronaut. The trio launched in a Soyuz spacecraft at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. It was a historical event for Malaysians as Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor (on the right in the picture) successfully voyaged into outer space alongside Yuri Malenchenko & Peggy Whitson.

It is comical that he is out in space to experiment the effects of making “Pulled Tea” or “Teh Tarik” as it is more commonly known in Malaysia. PhhbbTTtt! :P Nonetheless, it is already a good enough thing for a Malaysian astronaut to be in outer space. Although the first Malaysian astronaut in his voyage could be better off taking pictures & videos or do medical check ups on other astronaut’s bones in the International Space Station (ISS). :)
