One of My Favorite Pictures in Tatarstan Trip 2005

One of my favorite pictures among all the pictures I took in Kazan city, Tatarstan, Russia is the picture of the statue of a man with barbed wire wrapped around the feet signifying a struggle. Coincidently there was a car passing by & the hood of the car reflected the twilight sky.

Good thing it was a Lada Russian car. You can see plenty of Lada cars in Russia. However, the rich folks prefer German cars like Audi (Audi seems to be the most popular European car in Kazan), & Mercedes. Anyway, you can view the statue which is located just outside the entrance of the Kazan Kremlin.
