Extended working hours can be an issue in the Architectural field especially in the private sector. It can be very stressful & even complicated for the inexperienced graduate architect. Therefore, you should be asking the applicants whether they are prepared to work “overtime” to meet a project’s deadline whenever the need arises. Some architects may beg to differ but architects are not officially slave drivers as in the many ancient civilizations.
