Chicken Fried Steak Variety

Chicken Fried Steak at Ponderosa Steakhouse located in Salina, Kansas

Whose idea was it to put long beans with chicken fried steak? Instead, there should be french fries, corn on the cob, coleslaw & hot buns. I have seen worst done to it. Some folks even serve chicken fried steak with a fried egg “sunny side up”. Perhaps the particular variety is served during breakfast.

BBQ Corn

Chicken fried steak also known as “Chicken chop” is primarily served with gravy & mashed potatoes. It smells & taste great. However, some salads & garnishing should be added to make the chicken fried teak dish more colorful, vibrant & therefore more tempting. Washing it down with an icy, cool glass of ice lemon tea makes the Chicken Fried Steak a perfect meal for me.
