AuschwiTz & CzensTochowa - Two ConTrasTing Camps

Not far from Krakow is located Auschwitz city, in which is located the former concentration camp of Auschwitz the place of genocide of millions of human lives during the Second World War. Now the place in southern Poland is a memorial to the victims of the last war and reminds one of eternal value: respect for human life. The place seems to reek of death, like an eerie haunted place in a horror movie. A 6 hour tour is available from Auschwitz-Tours.com for EUR 41 per person.

Another city worth visiting is Czenstochowa City. Many pilgrims from all over Poland literally walk (I guess within reason) to the city annually to attend its religious cult festival about 15 August, the Feast of the Assumption. Located in the city is the monastery of Jasna Góra, a holy place for Polish and foreign Roman Catholics. Organized tours can be found at the StayPoland site for about $122 per person.

One can understand that the country is very rich history, in which very many sights rich nature. The country is calm, is comfortable and not very expensive! In it are a large number of ethnic Russians within the population. Polish language is very similar in the Russian. People are good & are responsive. In it there is no fuss. It is necessary to say that Poland is a pleasing place to visit especially for folks who know Russian language.
