Humongous Arapaima Fish in KLCC Aquarium

There was one fish that was so big in the KLCC aquarium that it could not fit in the picture! Lol. :-) I guess the fish is called the Arapaima fish & originates from South America; probably the Amazon area because it’s where wildlife tend to become very big in size.

Looking at the Wikipedia article on Arapaima (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arapaima); people do actually eat the fish. I have not tried it yet & cannot comment on the taste but there sure looks like plenty of meat from the fish. Fancy some Arapaima steaks, anyone? *chuckle* In Malaysia, the dish is possibly unheard of & the fish is usually kept in an aquarium by hobbyist although folks rearing them for consumption is not impossible.
