5am Drive to Pay for Beijing Flight Tickets

I drove alone to KL Sentral at around 5am in the morning to pay the flight tickets for my trip to Beijing back in September 2007. The streets of KL were almost barren but the street & the freeway lights were lighted. I felt like I was driving in a low density populated capital of Malaysia. Lol. It was a total contrast from the hustle & bustle of the city during the daytime. It was a relaxing & a strangely peaceful experience for me.

I liked every minute of driving virtually alone at a cruising 60kmph on the freeway. I wondered to myself which city in the world actually was like driving in almost barren freeways during the day. It is one of the many unusual things I do to be with my girl who lives thousands of miles away from me at the moment. Again, I was on my way to pay for my flight tickets to Beijing.

Last night my girl, Gulfiya got a call from the local Tatarstan travel agency informing her that her visa application into China had been approved & her passport & visa is on the way to Kazan from Moscow. It should arrive by the next Tuesday. It was on the same day that I went to the China Visa office in Kuala Lumpur to receive my visa into China for our Beijing trip in September 2007. Everything had roughly progressed as we had planned & it was only her flight tickets & my visa into China that required our attention regarding travel arrangements.
