Mechanical Parking System in Basement of OSK Building

In a precious post, I mentioned that the only place for you to make a visa to China is at the OSK building on Jalan Ampang in KL & not at the main building of the China embassy. Once you arrive to the OSK building Jalan Ampang in Kuala Lumpur, you can drive straight to the basement parking area of the building. Note that the parking is not the usual type of parking that you see in many buildings in Kuala Lumpur including the KLCC Petronas Twin Towers.

The OSK building uses a mechanical parking system, presumably to optimize the amount of basement parking space inside the building. You drive your car onto a platform, guided by a parking attendant, park it, get out of the car, & the attendant will move the platform accordingly to maximize available parking space. Kids & adults alike will like to ride on the moving platform. Mind you, a car weighs about a ton so it is fun to be on the strong moving platform which I must admit, I did it myself.
