You Can’t Miss the Putrajaya Mosque

Friday, June 27th, 2008

Located on the shores of the Putrajaya Lake is the Putrajaya Mosque. The name Putra Jaya literally means the Successful Prince in the English language. Construction of the mosque began in 1997 & was completed two years later. Nearby the grand mosque is the Perdana Putra which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister’s office. The Malaysian government officials who practice the religion of Islam attend prayers at the mosque whenever they like & especially on Fridays. Its location by the lake side enhances its beauty & the tall minaret could also be used to light up parts of the lake although it is uncertain whether the function is implemented on the minaret at present. Built in Turkish & Morroccan style of Islamic architecture, the Putrajaya Mosque stands gleefully by the Putrajaya lakeside, testament to the main religion of Malaysia. It is a pretty sight not to be missed while in Putrajaya!

Medical Students Should Know about Epocrates

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

I have a friend or two who are studying medicine at university. I will definitely suggest the Epocrates mobile clinical practice suite & of course mention to them about the Epocrates.com website too. They will really find the PDA medical software like the complete mobile clinical practice suite useful for quick reference & helping them make their drug subscription decisions while even outside of the office. I hope they will find it as an essential tool that will help them throughout their career as doctors & physicians. Also, the free medical PDA download like Epocrates RX, Epocrates MOBILECME, & Epocrates MEDTOOLS will help convince them about how Epocrates products can help their practice.

This announcement was paid for by Epocrates.
