voyage sp

In a few hours, I shall be on my way to be with my lady in Tatarstan, Russia. My flight departs at around 10.20am to day, 29th January, 2008. I have packed my bags, readied the gifts, dry cleaned my winter parka, & so on & so forth. Now I must ready myself for the 45 minutes driving to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang, Malaysia.

I am already awake & slept only a few hours last night, partly because I am happy to be going very soon & partly because I must finish some of my work. Perhaps I can take an half an hour nap now. Anyway, I am taking a well deserved break from work & my favorite hobby; blogging for a while & just relax, play with snow, & etc. Its been three years since I’ve tasted my girl’s mum’s cooking. Yumm!

After the Zoo Negara Malaysia trip, my elder wanted to take the whole family & Gulfiya to spend a weekend on Langkawi Island. The company she works with owns a few vacation houses on the island & she got to use one for the weekend. It was a good idea as Gulfiya had never been to Langkawi Island, at the north west of Malaysia. The Langkawi Island is part of the state of Kedah which is close to the Siamese border.

Come to think of it, I forgot to visit the lion’s den at Zoo Negara Malaysia although I did visit the Black Panther’s den, the wild cat in its lock-up, & see a few snakes at the snake area too. There used to be sea lion shows & etc at the zoo but I guess I went too early to see the performance. (more…)
